What customers say?

“ Ordered a ramen and drink $20 The noodle come with one tiny slim cut neat. Ya just 1 piece.....lol, however u can get more if u pay $2, but i strongly recommend the server should warn me and recommend me to add it. But i understand the boss probably don't want people to waste food. It's reasonable enough. ”

“ Gotta say it, mate’s TOP NOTCH GROUSE!!! Tis a cute lil sushi joint, visited it with my cute lil girlfriend and we certainly approve the taste but the quality of service was phenomenal. You’ll find the staff are open and friendly but the chef’s the star caterer of this shop. He came out to see if I was ok when I was served Takoyaki which was quite hot. He also assisted a customer in a wheelchair leave the building. Apart from the helpful service, he also made pleasant small talk with me, my girl and other customers… Like I said, place is TOP NOTCH GROUSE!!! ”

“ Delicious sushi! Lovely owners/staff! House special sauce is so good!! ”

“ I was getting tired of browsing at the Ferrari dealership this afternoon and this wonderful place was conveniently located directly across the street so I had to give it a shot. Literally no complaints at all. If you really want to get nit picky, they have no bathroom so make sure you go before you’re there. Aside from that, both the chicken and beef teriyaki rolls were great. The ebi shrimp were huge, chicken karrage was nice and juicy with a very different sauce to dip than I’m used to. Gyoza was on par with others I’ve tried and the aburi was awesome. Literally couldn’t tell the difference between here and Miku. The one think I was surprised about was the prices. Very very affordable. Money isn’t an “issue” for me, so to speak, but for someone that struggles with finances? They would probably be happy. Come and try it and make your own decision. Indulge ”

“ What a fantastic little home in the wall! And right on Burrard Street, convenient and centrally located. There's only space for up to 10 people across the tables, so the atmosphere is pretty cozy. Still, the sushi was very fresh, presentation excellent and the pricing very reasonable. The chirasi don I ordered was uncomplicated and simple, as one should be done to truly appreciate the freshness of the seafood. In comparison, the Big Buddy Roll was a complex mixture of flavours and textures. Not my favourite, but I appreciate where they were going with this signature roll. Would love to come here again the next time I'm in town! ”

“ Walk in occasionally. The outlook of the restaurant wasn’t so impressive but as we walked in the atmosphere turned out to be so good, the staffs are super friendly as well. The food is 100/10 amazing! The best sushi I’ve ever had in Vancouver. Everything we ordered is good. We can feel the chef made every sushi carefully with all his heart. I especially recommend salmon Oshi. Would definitely come back again. Wish everyone can come by and have a try! ”

“ I like this place as it has a very warm atmosphere. Food for most of it was good except for the the rice on the chirashi which was kinda hard but they exchanged it for me which was great. Good value for money. Service was excellent. I also wish they had a washroom inside. Overall it was good. ”

“ Had a wonderful meal here after visiting Vancouver Museum. The Big Buddy Roll is amazing - creative and enjoyable to combine the multiple layers of tastes of sweet potato chips, torched fresh tuna and spicy Korean sauce. The chef and staff are nice and welcoming. Love this place! ”
